Busy doing nothing

Its been good day off, sitting around doing nothing and watching others work is strangely satisfying. Watching the rain squalls sweep in was fascinating, really pleased it wasn't a walking day.
Thanks to Henry and Aileen for their generous donation in the pub.

  1. Aye up Snapper - it's Richy Mckie, down near Derby, reading your blogs with great admiration and interest.
I'll get round to donating when I can figure it out (IT was never on the timetable with Vinny Shaw was it - unless that stood for irritating tw*t).
All I can offer for now is that Alison was a track by Elvis Costello on the "My Aim is True" album.
What an escapade. I still do lots of running and the occasional marathon, but what you've taken on is mighty impressive.I am a Cornwall freak and hope to move down there to live in a couple of years when the Tories rip out the last of the public sector.
Your choice of excellent ales also rings a bell.
Keep on chugging old pal, and best wishes from me. Strange to say I was in Stratford last week getting some culture and some Davenports down my neck; maybe I'll drop in on you and the Lady H next time?
Top man - come on Rovers!

PS - Lenny Davies sent me the link to your blog. Quite articulate for a Ponderossa boy.
